Person o' the Week
An interview with Spring.
bHs: Hi, I'm so glad you were able to come.
Spring: As I am. In fact, I came a little early this year, but I knew you wouldn't mind.
bHs: I was a little surprised, actually, that you were so warm and dry.
Spring: But once again, did you really mind?
bHs: A little. I've always liked the cool and wet
weather in March, with everything
growing
and bursting out. But I do confess that I enjoyed wandering around
in t-shirts and getting a little (but only a little) sunburnt.
Spring: I thought so.
bHs: Thank you for becoming a bit more normal this week, though. Was it hard for you?
Spring: No, no, not at all. It's well within my prerogative, but I didn't want to leave too soon. I mean, Summer's not really all the pushy around here. I can usually last until at least mid June or even early July. But I realized I'd better pull back a bit.
bHs: No premature summering?
Spring: No.
bHs:
Do you have things you particularly enjoy during your season?
Spring: The birds. And watching everyone sneeze.
bHs: Sneeze? That's a bit mean, don't you think?
Spring: Probably. But it's boring to always be nice. I don't see why I have to be the nice and temperate one, balanced nicely on "comfortable."
bHs: I suppose not. Are there things that you really don't enjoy?
Spring:
Mmm, I'm not sure. Things are pretty good for me: flowers for aesthetics
and sneezes for humor.
bHs: Well, good. Things are pretty good for us, even with the sneezes. Thank you for coming!
